In any event whatever the right number may be it’s important to stress that if you are unsure if your content is in fact keyword stuffing just read it. If it reads awkwardly and sounds like a keyword is being used too many times then pull back on it.

Ultimately easy readability should be the goal. Simply explain your topic fully and provide value to the user and you should have nothing to worry about.
